Run For Leprosy

On Sunday 15th April 2015 BINUS university held an event run with the theme of leprosy. This event its very interesting and many participants joined this event. I am very happy to participate in this event because participants who join this event a lot and is very excited. We run with until 1000 person that very nice.

Leprosy is a disease that is very harmful for people who get it. Leprosy is also called Morbus Hansen, is a chronic infectious disease caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium leprae. Indonesia is known as one of the three countries that often have a leper. Two other countries are India and Brazil. Generally leprosy found in developing countries, and the majority of sufferers are from economically weak. Leprosy is a chronic disease that attacks the peripheral nerves, skin and organs of the human body in the long run lead to some members of the patient's body can not function properly. Although infectious, but a low degree of infectivity. Long incubation time, perhaps several years, and it seems most patients get infections during childhood.
